Title: Configure my own Nameserver
Post by: minoir on November 13, 2018, 02:18:21 pm
Try to make my own nameservers under the spotiads.net domain
I use AWS as hosting, with ubuntu server. I attach captures as I have configured.
Could I be missing some configuration?

i'm testing with domain spotiads.tk

Looks fine to me.  As long as 18.219.141.113 is your EHCP server, and you've added "spotiads.net" as a domain in the panel on 18.219.141.113, other domains should be able to use ns1.spotiads.net and ns2.spotiads.net as name servers.

Is this the way you've set it up?  It's not working for you?  What exactly are you trying to do?

My hosting I have it under IP 18.219.141.113, even if you enter sends you to the EHCP screen
Use this post as a guide http://ehcp.net/?q=node/1042

I want you to be able to write ns1.spotiads.net and ns2.spotiads.net when you set up a domain and show a site that you created using EHCP Force
Normally I have added an A record and I place the IP, but I have encountered situations where that does not work

Ok, so add "ns1.spotiads.net" and "ns2.spotiads.net" as domains to your panel.  Configure the site for one of the domains, and then redirect the other to it (all configurable in the panel).
