Please can someone help me as i can not send or receive email at all.
This happened after i followed instructions on how to make my mail authentic
due to a huge number of spam attacks by scammer groups.
I reverted the changes back as they where but i cant send or receive mail

Is there a way i can reset EHCP without losing the main settings and just the mail ?
Any help would be greatly welcome.

Technical Help / DKIM & SPF statement in DNS
« on: November 09, 2019, 09:43:20 am »
How do i add a SPF and DKIM text record in DNS ?
I also want this to be global to all my email addresses.
Please can anyone help.

I have got to the point that i have an encryption key but i cant add it into my DNS, well i don't know how to
and whether it covers all my domains.
Please help.

If someone could give me a sample of how it should look like with the various options then that would really help.
Just a basic layout example.

Should the value look like this: ?

mydomain.com IN TXT "p=encrypted code"

All of a sudden over night all my websites stopped working and i Get the cant connect error.
I can recieve email and i can login with FTP there seams to be a problem with the http port number 80.
I have checked with the router and it forwards port 80 to the server. I have reset the router. Is this a know issue ?

Also i do have backup files but as i also cant access EHCP to restore to a previous date.

Technical Help / Remote Backup Question
« on: August 04, 2018, 06:24:54 am »
I have Qnap TS210 with tuns of space so that is ideal to back up my server and EHCP.
For some reason i am stuck and the backup fails to backup to the server itself or the Qnap.
I can login to the Qnap and upload files to the directory via Filezilla  but EHCP Remote backup always fails.
Basically i am getting this:

Connected to 192.168.1.16.
220 NASFTPD Turbo station 1.3.5a Server (ProFTPD)
331 Password required for admin
230 User admin logged in
Remote system type is UNIX.
Using binary mode to transfer files.
200 Type set to I
local: xx_229_14_xx_B280618_08_02_2018_180002_ehcp_backup.tgz.enc remote: xx_229_14_xx_B280618_08_02_2018_180002_ehcp_backup.tgz.enc
227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,1,16,220,203).
550 xx_229_14_xx_B280618_08_02_2018_180002_ehcp_backup.tgz.enc: Forbidden filename
221 Goodbye.

haha  the xx in the IP is just so you don't all log in at the same time.
Please can anyone help urgently as due to the heat i can hear things starting to fail.

Feature Requests / Rollback Software for EHCP
« on: June 29, 2018, 03:57:30 am »
Lets say i have an issue with EHCP and need to re install it as fresh, ie DB, SQL etc.
can some automatic uninstall software be included ?
I run my own server from home.

What happens is when i have messed up and try to re install EHCP i run into even more issues.
When i delete MySQL folder as people are mentioning as a way to uninstall EHCP. As that is not
the correct way to uninstall it but just hides it. I find that when i go to re install EHCP it has most of the
bad remnants that i was trying to reset in the first place. I am not the greatest with Ubuntu but learning
and i always seam to have to format the server and start all from scratch with Ubuntu 18.04 and EHCP
which is extremely annoying and time consuming. It would be nice to run some software that removed
EHCP fully and restores the OS to the point before it was installed.

I recently upgraded Ubuntu to a fresh install along with EHCP Force and mostly very happy.
But i am finding that much of my old (and a lot of new) software is not compatible with PHP 7 (7.2)
So my question is: Is there a work around for PHP 5 dependant software and PHP Extensions.
One thought was to have two instances of PHP running side by side.
Another was: is there some kind of conversion that could be automatically applied to the old PHP software.

I really don't with to go back to older versions of Ubuntu as i found almost all of them unstable with the exception of 12.04
and as it seams many aren't shifting to PHP 7
Any thoughts or better still ... any solutions.

General / Thanks for EHCP Force
« on: June 29, 2018, 03:35:36 am »
I would like to thank you guys for making EHCP a much more fluid and reliable CP.
I was pulling out my hair with problems and glitches on the older versions of EHCP
and it led to me not using it. I tried once more with the new EHCP Force and it is a breeze.
The layout i find is still a little clunky but vastly improved, I always used to use the Default Template
but i am getting on with the new one now. I hope that with our input that we can improve even further to perfection  :-)
Thanks and keep up the good work.
